What To Do

Yet, I am apparently back on the blogging block. I don't think that I have blogged this much in a LONG time!

Anyways, I am not too sure where to turn right now.

What do you do for a child who needs help, but doesn't qualify?

For those of you who have been following along, you know that this year has been a very difficult road to travel.

My oldest started the year off with a bang!

Suicidal ideations.

Of course, that brought out momma bear as well as delving me deeper into my own depression.

We have been to therapists, psychologist, developmental pediatrician, audiological specialists, etc.

Basically, what it all boils down to is that my child will consider killing herself, but she somehow isn't bad enough for help.

Yeah, boggles my mind too!

She suffers from social awkwardness due to her Central Auditory Processing Disorder, but her CAPD isn't bad enough to warrant help.

So, I have struck off on my own and tried to seek some sort of group therapy/social skills therapy for her, but can you believe that there is nothing in the area for her? I have looked and looked hard since about May. Everyone keeps referring me to the same programs, however my daughter is too old for one and the other doesn't seem to have anything going on!
ARGH!
