Funnel Cake Friday

 

Okay, so...as you read this, me and my hubby are out on a date for our 2 year anniversary. Our anniversary is not until Monday, but we were able to get rid of both the kids for the night. (God love 'em, but we need a night to ourselves once in a while.) So, we headed to the fair! I have looked forward to this night all week. The Dixie Classic Fair is in town (Winston-Salem, NC) and I haven't been to the fair since 2003. Before that, I hadn't been to a fair since I was child in the 6th grade.

So, not only has it been years since I have been to the fair, but I have never been on a "date" to the fair. I have looked forward to this night all week! I have pictured eating my favorite fair food (Funnel Cake), riding the Ferris Wheel, maybe some bumper cars, etc. Most importantly, though, I have looked forward to sharing it with my hubby.

And hubby, thank you for going along with my juvenile idea of a date at the fair for our anniversary. You are such a team player. I love you!
